How to add fog?

    Hello,

    I'm trying to add fog to my early morning photo, with sun rising over a field. I try to use a gradient fill on a new layer, but it doesn't come out good enough. I want it to be more "patchy".

    How do you create a realistic fog?

    Hi MartinDe,

    You can use a brush with lower opacity in a new layer. This will get you the patches, after that you simply do a gaussian blur on the new layer...
